Originally from Stourbridge but now living in Pelsall, an early passion for music developed from the age of 11 when I purchased my first record which was Geno by Dexy’s Midnight runners and the first album was Survivor Eye of the tiger. My parents gave me a Realistic Clarinette record player for that Christmas (1980). My music taste is eclectic indeed as like Classical, Rock, Dance, 70s/80s and more but with an overriding enjoyment of rock and metal genres.

I love both live & recorded music. The first live gig I attended thanks to my big sister was The Damned at Malvern Winter Gardens. Live music and radio (Beacon, Radio WM, Radio 1 back in the day) were a focus with other interest including Technology (especially Hi-Fi,), Motorsports (Rally/F1/Speedway), Heritage, travel and Railways.

Favourite artists include Magnum, Deep Purple, Black Sabbath, Iron Maiden and Eagles. Supporting our excellent local grassroots venues and local bands is a passion (bands such as TheiaUK, Iconic Eye, Tokyo Storm and many more).
